Koudekerk aan den Rijn (English: ''Cold Church on the Rhine'') is a village in the western Netherlands. It is a part of the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn, South Holland and is located about 4 km west of Alphen aan den Rijn. The village Koudekerk aan den Rijn has a population of around 3730.〔Statistics Netherlands (CBS), (''Statline: Kerncijfers wijken en buurten 2003-2005'' ). As of 1 January 2005.〕 Koudekerk aan den Rijn was a separate municipality until 1991, when it became part of Rijnwoude.
